Masteron is a synthetic androgen or male hormone similar to testosterone. The steroid has the property of binding to androgen receptors, which helps to interact with the part of the cell involved in protein synthesis. The process can lead to an increase in the synthesis of some proteins or a decrease in the synthesis of others. These proteins work differently by blocking the growth of certain types of breast cancer cells, stimulating cells, inducing male sexual characteristics, and stimulating the production of red blood cells.
